The Morgridge Creative Hub at Denver Art Museum is a dynamic educational space in the location formerly known as Ponti Hall on level one of the Martin Building. It will facilitate school group visits, feature hands-on artmaking activities inspired by the creative process and serve as a location for creative communities to convene for discussion and participation in DAM programs.

In this space, the Creative Hub, you are being invited to go on a creative journey. By now maybe you’ve shredded your expectations, gotten some inspiration, or even had some time to experiment with new ideas and materials. Wherever you are on your journey, now we are going to pause and make time for reflection.

…I’d like to leave you with this last thought.

Life can be a lot like creating a piece of art. Sometimes you add things, and sometimes you take stuff away. You can’t judge the work too early because it will evolve over time. The weird imperfections are what make it interesting. If you have any thoughts leaving this reflection activity, take a quiet moment to write down or draw your thoughts and ideas. Remember to lean into your creative spirit, and enjoy your day and your time here in the Creative Hub.
