Hello every human!
The first works in progress critique is officially here and we can't be more excited to be offering this to you! We realize quite a few of you are interested in having your work formally critiqued for feed back so we have made a few arrangements to make that more smooth the day of.
For starters, we will be located at the Collective SML|K space where Odessa is enjoying their first Curatorial Residency. It is a beautiful space and will be perfectly intimate for our first Works in Progress Critique.
Second, we have created a Google Form for you to submit your work. This form is a means for us to better organize the evening/prepare for any hanging or presentation materials that might be needed the day of.
The link to that form is below:
DEADLINE IS APRIL 8th at 8pm!!!!!!!
As you fill out this form, please keep in mind all works must be either: a work in progress, never before published, or never before shown in a gallery or boutique setting. This is a fresh eyes only experience to help creatives who are looking for genuine feedback on a project.
Please fill out as much information as possible. The more thorough the better.
We will only be able to critique works for up to 10 artists. No more than 3 pieces of work to submit, please. (We want each individual to get a sufficient amount of time to receive feed back.)
If for whatever reason we receive more than 10 entries for the critique, we will narrow it down. For anyone that is not selected this time around, they will be given priority at the next critique taking place this August at Alto Gallery.
Even if you are not being critiqued on your work, we encourage everyone to still come and hang out. Your perspectives on the work will add value to the evening. Please don't in anyway feel discouraged from attending.
For any questions or information about the form please reach out to Moe Gram at firstname.lastname@example.org.
